National Dialogue on Labour Migration

We are excited to invite you to a national dialogue on labour migration aimed at promoting safe and decent jobs for Tanzanian migrants and reducing vulnerability. The event will be held on 6th November 2024, from 08:00 am to 04:00 pm at the New Library Hall UDSM, with over 350 participants from government, NGOs, businesses, and academic institutions.

Labour migration significantly contributes to Tanzania’s economic development by creating employment and facilitating skills transfer. However, challenges remain in ensuring the safety and rights of migrants. Your participation will be crucial in shaping policies and strategies to enhance the protection of Tanzanian labour migrants and building partnerships for sustainable development.
