Eco Scope Joins the TFA Fight

On 19 August 2026, Eco Scope Foundation had the opportunity to participate as a key stakeholder in a meeting convened by TAWLA – Tanzania Women Lawyers Association in Dar es Salaam under the Trans Fatty Acids (TFA) Campaign.

The engagement brought together members of the Industry Monitoring and Response Team (IMRT) to strengthen collaboration, align strategies, and enhance collective efforts toward protecting public health.

Key discussions focused on refining the work plan, strengthening monitoring and advocacy efforts, and building capacity to identify, track, and respond to industry interference in health policy processes.

Eco Scope Foundation is proud to contribute to this important multi-stakeholder effort and remains committed to supporting healthier food systems, stronger health policies, and a Trans Fat-Free Tanzania.
