Eco Scope Foundation Participates in meeting for Combating Non-Communicable Diseases.

In continuing the fight against non-communicable diseases in the country, the Eco Scope Foundation had the opportunity to participate in a meeting organised by Tanzania Women Lawyers Association TAWLA in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and health stakeholders nationwide. The main goal of this meeting was to introduce a new program aimed at advocating for the enactment of laws/regulations that will require food producers and distributors in the country to provide accurate information on their packaging. This will enable consumers to access complete information in simple language that will help them make informed decisions before purchasing and consuming the respective products. These laws/regulations will contribute to reducing the increase of non-communicable diseases, particularly those caused by poor nutrition.
