Empowering Communities Through Clean Cooking: Partnership for a Sustainable Tanzania.

Empowering Communities Through Clean Cooking: Partnership for a Sustainable Tanzania.

As part of our ongoing program to promote access to clean and affordable cooking solutions in Tanzania, we were honored to be invited by the Salesian Sisters of St. Don Bosco in Temeke district of Dar es Salaam to participate in their WASH project. During this impactful event, we had the privilege of engaging and empowering over 300 participants on the importance of clean energy and practical ways to access sustainable cooking technologies.

This collaboration aligns closely with our strategic objective of supporting national efforts to combat climate change, particularly through the implementation of the National Clean Cooking Strategy (2024–2034). It reinforces our commitment to Tanzania’s broader climate resilience agenda and the transition towards sustainable energy for all.

We remain dedicated to uplifting local communities especially women, youth and persons with disabilities by reducing the rate of energy poverty across the country. By providing clean cooking technologies, enhancing local capacity as well as fostering multi-stakeholder partnerships, our initiative contributes to a ripple effect of improved health, increased economic opportunities and also to widespread adoption of sustainable energy solutions in Tanzania. Thanks to Farmers Dream for their practical engagement during this event
